We had a tree removed from our yard today (our “main” tree that was the center of our yard) but it had to go because it was diseased and while it would have lasted a few years at some point it would need to go and better to remove it before it got too big and tougher to remove. Now we can see the mountains from a new angle and so I snapped a few pictures.

Next year we will have a new tree, an Autumn Blaze Maple occupying the yard (in a slightly new location as the old trees roots would make it difficult for our new tree to adapt easily). It will take a few years to get our new tree up to the shade level that our old one was but regardless it will be beautiful to watch as it grows.
